Badge #001: トライバッジ (Tri Badge)

あたし　って　サイコウ♪！ (I’m the best ♪!)

I’ve already played Pokemon White a little bit before, on a legit copy. I got as far as the third badge, but switched to emulator because I wanted to start taking screenshots and stuff; so I started over.

I also hacked in my own starter pokemon, because I like it more. I will be using this Pokemon throughout most of the game. It’s a ピッピ(Pippi/Clefariy) named ののワ(Nonowa).

She’s got mero mero body and a lonely nature. Didn’t EV train her (yet, I’ll do it in-game; probably a 128 atk/spatk/hp/spd spread) and I set reasonable IVs. I hacked in this Pippi, but I set it up to basically look like I just traded myself from HGSS; its also got legit stats. I just think she’s cuter than the rest~. Gonna switch between her and a Dredear(Lilligant).

Also going to switch between Kanji and Hiragana; when I’m tired (I mostly play games like pkmn when tired), my brain can’t take recalling kanji, so I just turn on lazy hiragana mode. I play Pokemon while catching every available Pokemon along the way… That’s a lot more fun than rushing through and completing your Pokedex later. I also talk to every NPC and check every area; So I take a long time on areas, especially since I just use a Pippi. This thing is going to comp play.

Anyways, so I KICKED OFF THE ADVENTURE. Man, ベル(Bel/Bianca) really is cute. The starter I picked was a Derp Otter, because the noise it makes when you hover over it is cuter than the other ones. カノコタウン doesn’t really have anything cool in it, so I went straight to カラクサタウン.
I styled all over 1ばんだおうろ.

Getto Daze’d: ヨーテリー, ミネズミ

You fight with エヌ(N) and listen to Plasma Dan sound retarded here, but the coolest part is definitely that house in the upper right where you can add stuff to the BGM. Damn, I straight head banged to that for like 20mins my first time here.

Anyways, so I left this town. On 2ban Douro, you get stopped by Mama calling, and there’s some cool art:

Even though I lost, my Pokemon are cute!

Yeah right Miniskirt, not only do you lose at battles to a real Miniskirt (me), your silly little dog thing isn’t even .00001% as cute as my Pippi. Can’t beat a protagonist Miniskirt.

Getto Daze’d: チョロネコ

サンヨウシティ first impressions: this BGM is horrible. Maybe it’s just because Karakusa had some intensely nice BGM, but jeeze. All the NPCs here are fairly uninteresting as well.

However, the west side of town has a really nice garden hedge area. Screenshots:

It’s a pretty area. Perhaps if I lived in イッシュ地方, I’d make this my secret base. Until I find an even better one, anyways.
