Hey hey, right now, where are yooou?

Been awhile! After leaving Hiun City, you immediately get stopped by Bel♥. Battling her was fun, and her monologue afterwards as really cute. I think I’ll post all of it.

Even though I trained with Iris-chan… In the end, I really can’t win…

I can’t be a strong trainer like ckx and Cheren, or Iris-chan either, but ever since journeying from Kanoko Town I’ve met various people and I’ve thought about the things I want to do and have done! In that way, Pokemon have started so many things for me! ・・・・・・When my Pokemon were taken, it was troubling and worrying and I couldn’t do anything, but even still I can say I’m glad I went on a journey! And I understand how extremely precious it is to have Pokemon! Then we’ll meet again somewhere, ne. Bai-bai! ckx

Bel is really cute. Damn though, I’ve forgotten to turn back on kanji mode so some of that was sort of hard to read, lol. Although, in the original Pokemon games kanji mode didn’t exist, I remember when playing moemon, it sort of felt like full Hiragana was how Pokemon should be played.

In any case, this badge’s gym leader Kamitsure! She’s one of the more stylish pokemon girls. I don’t know much about her though, so I’m excited.

Fighting Cheren:

Gonna start recording each important battle for fun. I guess I’ll take less random screenshots too. Anyways, pretty standard fight, lol akkarin and nonowa are trying hard! I play very safely at this stage in the game because I don’t want any surprises.

After fighting Cheren I went through 4ban douro, the desert resort, and I snuck into kodai no shiro (relic castle) for a second to grab the single new pokemon there (desumasu).

GETTO DAZE’D: ダルマッカ, メグロコ, ズルッグ, イシズマイ, マラカッチ, シンボラー, デスマス

I’d like to spend a second talking about Desumau because I think he’s an intense pokemon. I think that the localizations of his descriptions are pretty decent TLs, so I’ll quote them:

Pokemon Black:
Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry.
Pokemon White:
These Pokémon arose from the spirits of people interred in graves in past ages. Each retains memories of its former life.

Formerly human pokemon that have memories of their past, carry a mask which represents their former face, and they cry in remembrance of their past life…
They’re ghost type with the ability “mummy”, species being “spirit.”

Their entire moveset is full of moves with names that signify despair such as Evil Eye, Ominous Wind, Curse, Grudge, Dark Look, and Michidure. Michidure in this context would be something like forcing someone to come with you; jisho says “someone unwillingly made to take part; being made to take part in something.” Btw, “Desumasu” would mean “Death Mask.” Intense.
